Warning: Windows Update Bug
Currently there is a Windows Update bug that is affecting Windows 2000 & Windows XP
Computers.  This bug appears to be in the automatic update index file which causes svchost.exe
and the DLL file inside of it, wuaueng.dll to run in a continuous loop.  This causes the computer
to run 10-20 times slower than normal, can lead to lockups and internet connectivity failure. 
MCS Networks has designed a batch file along with an update to resolve this issue.

I received my new PC on Saturday 8/11/07 from Mike Howe, owner of MCS Networks Inc.  Its been running great all weekend.  The PC is an Intel Q6600 Quad-Core with a 320gb Raid 1 HD setup with 4gb of Ram, 256mb Video Card, 2 DVD-RW Drives and a beautiful custom case.

The PC runs quietly, is very cool and is a real performer with Adobe Lightroom, CS3 and Elements 5.0.  Lightroom and CS3 "Scream" with the Quad-Core setup as they were written to take advantage of multiple processors.  This is an optimal price / performance system for folks who do Digital Photography.

I would like to add that Mike & Chris Howe (owners of MCS Networks Inc.) are a real "find".  If you want to work with honest & very smart computer people; these folks are without peer in the La Crosse area.  Working with them, is a real pleasure, in that their courtesy and professionalism are "first class" as well.
